The winegrowing extends on 4 ha on grounds from low registers garonnaises. Planting, a high density (10 000 pieds/ha) has an average age of almost 40 years. The grape harvest is manual and mechanical work of the ground. Maturing out of 20 month old barrels, with 20% of new barrels each year. That gives thisHaut-Médoc 2009, of a great classicism, color crimson, quite fullbodied but very delicate, with these blackcurrant and blackberry notes, which mix smoothness and structure. The 2008, a wine of beautiful sunk color, are scented (blackcurrant), where the suppleness prevails, with tannins molten but quite present, traditional of this vintage, of guard, of course. The 2006, fleshy, with currant and undergrowth aromas, is rich and persistent in mouth, fleshy, with ripe tannins, of deep color, mixing structure and elegance, of good guard. The 2005, with the nose of black cherry and humus, is traditional, a wine where the structure is combined with the smoothness, of garnet-red color to the purplished reflections, firm and velvety tannins, of guard.

Vineyard of 30 ha, including 25 of vines with an average age of 15 to 20 year. A rigorous selection of the grapes and tanks bring to a production of approximately 80,000 bottles. Much liked this Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois 2009, traditional, much of fruit, beautiful matter, fleshy wine, scented, all stops some, tasty, of excellent guard. 2008 mix powerfull and distinction, very traditional, with the powerful red fruit aromas marked by a final of strawberry and cherry, suavemouth, underlined well by sharp tannins. 2007, bronze medal with Féminalise competition ofBeaune, all in scents, of a beautiful fullness, feels the strawberries of wood and the humus, of robust and supple mouth at the same time. 2006 richer, from with a well balanced mellowness mouth, with subtle perfumes (blackcurrant, humus), powerful but are distinguished, with a very harmonious final. 2005 develop a powerful nose prevailed by the cooked red fruits, an intense wine, of guard. Taste nice rosé Les Roses de Marie 2010, a greedy, frankly and long-lived wine.

Coming from 95 ha in reasoned culture, the wines of the Fabre winegrowings are marketed on line without passing by the place of Bordeaux, which makes it possible to better control the distribution networks and to ensure the diffusion in the traditional sector. Excellent Haut-Médoc2009, generous and persistent, powerful, with fruity savors, with tannins quite present, rich and fleshy, a wine which should hold its promises. 2008, with this nose characteristic of fresh red small fruits (blackcurrant, morello cherry…), with dense tannins, is all in nuances, all in mouth, of excellent guard. Haut-Médoc ChâteauTonnelle 2009, fleshy as one likes them, with very elegant but rich tannins also, of nice garnet-red robe, a beautiful harmony with these notes of ripe red small fruits, of good structure. 2008 of sunk color, with tannins quite present, rich in aromas, is well concentrated but all in suppleness, not yet with maturity, naturally. Taste Haut-Médoc Château Landat 2009, with the slightly spiced ripe fruit connotations (morello cherry, blackcurrant…), of full and well structured mouth.

A family property since several generations, which extends on 12 ha from gravelly croups very quite exposed (not of chemical weeding, manual grape harvest, traditional wine making with long 3 weeks fermenting, maturing out of barrels of oak for 12 months…). Beautiful Haut-Médoc 2009, very well-balanced, with the aromas of spices, violet and pepper, a wine combining a tannic smoothness with a roundness in persistent mouth, of a very nice final. 2008, silver medal with the competition of the Great wines with Mâcon 2010, with dense tannins, the scents of cherry black and humus, full and is structured, very persistent, of beautiful evolution. 2007, medal of money to competition Bordeaux wines of Aquitaine 2009, to the connotations of small stone-fruits and spices, rich, fleshy and dense, with matter and tannins, a powerful wine, of a beautiful harmony in mouth, very succeeded. Beautiful 2005, intense and coloured, with the pepper and cinnamon, blackcurrant aromas, fullbodied, with very structured tannins, a wine rich in aromas, of fort beautiful evolution. 2003 start with very well being tasted, a wine with much structure, all in mouth, quite well-balanced, with the nose of crystallized cherry and humus, elegant structure, fort good guard. Remarkable quality-price-typicité ratio.

Château Galiane owes its name to the English General “Galian” who since this place ordered the English troops during the occupation of Aquitaine in XVe century. Family estate since several generations, its surface of 5 ha, planted of 50% from Cabernet-Sauvignon, 45% of Merlot and 5% of Petit Verdot, has a perfect balance, very traditional and traditional of the Margaux appellation. The vineyard is distributed on croups delicate low registers. “For this vintage 2011, Christiane Renon tells us, one dry and hot spring caused an early hydrous stress with the vine, and in particular of the high temperatures over April and May. The important growth required a very fast reaction and much of work of the vine, not to let itself overflow. Some had pieces seriously hailed at the end of May - at the beginning of June. A summer in teeth of saw with large heat strokes made ripening very heterogeneous, which required an important sorting to keep only the best. The grape harvest began 15 days earlier than with the practice is on September 14th. The quantities are relatively reasonable, especially for our old vines. I keep in memory one year very fascinating, with much of work in green, a constant monitoring and a very serious sorting. The result is with go, I would even say that I am agreeably surprised. The wines are quite well-balanced, fruity with a good tannic structure. Although it is still a little early, I can say that they have roundness and that they will give much satisfaction as well to keep as with drinking a little young person. For my part one vintage of vine grower, very interesting.” One has patience by enjoying his remarkable Margaux Cru Bourgeois 2009, coloured, of powerful mouth, with ripe tannins, a wine which feels good ripe currant and the humus, all in roundness, of good structure, structured and delicate at the same time, of very good guard. 2008 are a success, all color and out of matter, with the nose of morello cherry and smoked, rich and fleshy, intense, of a beautiful balance, a wine with tannins quite present but silky, promising. 2007, are of beautiful steady robe, with the slightly spiced nose, with nuances of blackberry, a very well-balanced wine, persistent, combining a nice structure with an attractive roundness in mouth. ItsMargaux Château Charmant, whose vineyard of 5 ha is planted on croups delicate low registers, has vine stocks centenaries, the culture is done by a fertilization carried out containing organic manure. 2009, with the aromas of which prevail ripe red fruits, steady round mouth by nice tannins, are a traditional and quite robust wine. Powerful 2008, of garnet-red robe, where the morello cherry and the spices prevail, a beautiful traditional wine which combines structure and suppleness, with quite firm tannins, the complex nose. 2007, of a beautiful garnet-red robe deep, are very aromatic, with the delicate nose prevailed by notes of liquorice and blackcurrant, a dense wine, of full mouth with a key spiced finally, which is tasted very well today.

A vineyard of 38 ha planted on a ground of stony formation interfered with sand and clay (it is what one calls of the “croups”). Typified well, Médoc 2009 (50% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 50%Merlot), with the subtle nose prevailed by persistent aromas of smoked, humus and of black cherry, very well-balanced, full, of beautiful tannic presence, a wine, very promising. 2008 is firm and persistent, with the scents of blackberry and of pepper, with tannins very quite well-balanced, combining structure and elegance in mouth where the blackcurrant and the undergrowth prevail, a wine of guard. 2007, of mouth dense, with pronounced notes of blackberry and morello cherry, rich color, develop molten and very tasty tannins. Beautiful 2006, bronze medal in Challenge International of wines Blaye 2009, robust, with the undergrowth and blackberry noses, dense, with its nuances of humus and blackcurrant finally. 2005 powerful, is coloured and intense with the nose as in mouth (ripe fruits and pepper), full, with matter, with rich tannins, a wine which should hold all its promises.

That gives Médoc Cru Bourgeois 2008, with very elegant but quite firm tannins also, well marked by its soil, fleshy and persistent, intense in aromas like of structure, with these nuances of blackcurrant and undergrowth and liquorice, a wine of structure supple and very structured, of very good guard.

A vineyard of 30 ha (75% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, with an average age of the 26 year old vines, planted on a limestone tape rich in fossils). All in mouth, this excellent Médoc Prestige 2007, matured out of barrels, is appreciated perfectly currently, very elegant, fleshy and rich, with the intense bouquet with these fresh red fruit and undergrowth notes, a wine of mouth full and melted. Tasty 2006, of beautiful robe steady ruby, a wine very harmonious, very full, with the noses of fruits red and a point of spices characteristic, fleshy in mouth, all in subtlety, a wine which is tasted very well today, of good guard. 2005, matured out of barrels, of nice garnet-redrobe deep, dense and are very scented (red small fruits, leather), with tannins round and present, a well-balanced wine which fills up the mouth well, with the nuances of smoked typical, of a beautiful final.

Always classified very well. A beautiful very favorite for this Médoc Cru Bourgeois 2009, not less than 4 medals for this vintage of which one of Argent to general competition Agricole Paris 2011, and one of Gold to Shangaï Wine Compétition, maturing 12 to 18 months 100% out of barrels including 33% the new ones, of color ruby dark, rich and structured, with the slightly spiced nose, tannins present which hardly start to be melted, very well-balanced, rich and fleshy. Beautiful 2008, bronze medal in Decanter Awards, like with competition International de Mâcon, fullbodied, intense color as in aromas, which smells of good the ripe fruits and liquorice, finely tannic. 2007, of very good mouth, is quite fleshy, with harmonious tannins, with nuances of overripe fruits and spices, of beautiful color black, rich and velvety cherry with the palate with personality. Taste Médoc Château Amour 2009, silver medal in Win Event Hong-Kong 2011, maturing from 6 to 8 months 100% out of barrels, of nice garnet-red robe, robust, of persistent mouth, with the ripe fruit nose, with supple and very well-balanced tannins, of a nice final. Very pleasant Rosé de Panigon, beautiful steady robe, with the raspberry notes, floral and fruity mouth, all in harmony, to open on a shrimp bouquet or a quiche.

Incontestably at the top. Calon-Ségur is one of the most elegant wines of Bordeaux, and profits, for such a qualitative level, of a quality-price ratio which should make some reflect more one. The historical references do not miss in Calon, who owes its name with a small boat used at the Means-age to transport the wood of a bank to the other, the village was called besides Saint-Estèphe-de-Calon for a long time. The winegrowing extends on 94 ha vines on the soil of Saint-Estèphe, and gathers Châteaux Calon-Ségur, Marquis de Calon (second mark of Calon) and Capbern Gasqueton, a Grand Cru Bourgeois all in smoothness. Exceptional Saint-Estèphe2009, at the top of his appellation, with the persistent and subtle aromas of ripe red small fruitswith core, very structured, with silky but dense tannins, a powerful, harmonious, complex great wine and charmer. The 2008 is the prototype of what must be a typified great wine of Bordeaux, concentrate, of sunk robe, with much structure, with the complex nose where prevail the blackcurrant, the currant and leather, robust and fleshy, of powerful mouth prevailed by the cooked fruits with core and the undergrowth, of great guard. Very great 2007, with aromas quite present of fruits black and red, full and fleshy, a wine which has much charm and elegance, of deep color, structured, with marked tannins but which are based well thereafter, of a beautiful persistence, promising. The 2006 one of more great successes of the property, is marked by its soil, where the structure prevails, with the nose powerful with truffle notes and humus, quite fleshy as it should be, generous and very harmonious, dense and coloured, of great guard. Exceptional 2005, very a great wine, fleshy, scented, typified well, fullbodied, with the intense, of mouth concentrated with nuances of truffles and liquorice, powerful and elegant nose at the same time, which deserves an elaborate kitchen and especially a little patience, so much it is promising. The 2004 is fantastic, of a great freshness which the soil precisely brings to him, a vintage of a great classicism, of a large smoothness but powerful, a very intense wine, very scented (cooked fruits, liquorice…), of slow evolution. Very beautiful 2003, still closed, more exuberant (it is the vintage which wants that), bulky, of a beautiful color crimson, fleshy and scented, with the persistent nose of ripe red small fruits, leather and undergrowth, with much of matter. The 2002 is superb, very traditional, a success, very powerful, of intense garnet-red robe, with the complex bouquet where fruity notes and undergrowth, a fleshy and distinguished wine marry, with firm tannins, of guard, of course. Exceptional 2001, with the spiced nuances, a dense wine, all harmonize some, rich with the nose, with these notes of blackberry and humus, and of the nuances of leather andprune in mouth, with firm tannins, of slow evolution. The 2000, a great wine, are still very young, elegant, all in powerfull, with much of matter, of the leather and overripe red fruit aromas, of a great potential of evolution. Remarkable 1999, which associates structure and smoothness, of garnet-red, full and scented color, quite fullbodied, with quite well-balanced tannins, a firm and persistent wine. The 1998 is a very great wine, tannic, powerful, concentrated but all in smoothness, very structured, harmonious, with the complex notes (blackberry, truffle…). The 1997 of melted, rich, attractive mouth with blackberry notes, are very scented, very round, a full wine with the nose as with the palate, with ripe tannins, of a nice final. Beautiful 1996, with the aromas of overripe fruits, spices, leather, deep color, a very rich wine, with very well-balanced tannins, of guard. The 1995 is particularly tasty, of a great intensity in mouth (leather, morello cherry crystallized, undergrowth…), fleshy and dense, a great wine scented, all in mouth, of great evolution, really superb. Very wise, and largely justified prices.
